Scotland started playing rugby Back in 1871 and they have been part of the Cups since very long. Although their performces in the RWC  blow par, theri best the any of the World CUps they have been part of is the 4th placed finish in the 1991. Since than they do chok at the big moment which is kind of bad for them.

They are placed in the group B with the likes of England, Argentina, Georgia and Romani. This group is kind of where they might struggle but on paper they should just sealed through to round. What we expect is a runner up place for them behind 2003 Champions England. Only Argentina is the team which might trouble them but apart from that its easy we have to say.

England are team playing on top of their game for the last couple of years and they are one of the favourites to go all the way in the World Cup 2011 and it will be interesting to see how this years event goes about. England won the World Cup in 2003 and since than Rugby in England has been a very famous sport after Football, every year they play in the 6 nations and other big matches.

England has finished runnerups in two occasions, in 1991 and again in 2007 when they lost against South Africa in the Final of the Rugby World Cup. Rugby World Cup 2011 will be the first time that Russia has played in a Rugby World Cup tournament. When Russia achieved their goal of qualifying for RWC 2011 the sport of rugby in Russia went from anonymity to capturing the heart of the entire nation.

Rugby Union players and fans in Russia are excited about the future prospects of the sport and about seeing their national rugby team compete at the highest level at the 2011 Rugby World Cup. Since qualifying for Rugby World Cup 2011, a large number of young players have become interested in playing rugby in Russia, and first-rate National Rugby Academy was established in 2006.

Russia did not play its first official rugby international until 1974 although the Soviet Union Rugby Union was established in 1936. By the mid 80’s the team from the Soviet Union was beating teams like Romania and Italy, and although invited to attend the inaugural Rugby World in New Zealand in 1987, they turned the offer down on political grounds.

Coached by Nikolay Nerush and assisted by former Wales flanker Kingsley Jones, the team from Russia will use the 2011 Rugby World Cup as a learning experience and to continue to grow the sport back home.

Russia are ranked 19th in the IRB world rankings, and for RWC 2011 are in Pool C with Australia, Ireland, Italy and USA. Russia’s opening Rugby World Cup game is against USA in New Plymouth on the 15th September, followed by Italy in Nelson on the 20th September. From there Russia travel to Rotorua to play Ireland on the 25th September, and the final Rugby World Cup pool game for Russia will be against Australia in Nelson on the 1st October.

Rugby World Cup 2011 will see Russia will enjoy Blenheim’s hospitality for training from 6th – 12th and 16th – 18th September, and will be hosted by New Plymouth from 13th – 15th September. Mt. Maunganui will be Russia’s team base from 21st – 23rd September, and the team will be in Rotorua from 24th – 27th September.

The Australia national rugby team, nicknamed the Wallabies, has competed in all six Rugby World Cups, and have lifted the William Webb Ellis trophy twice, in 1991 against England, and in 1999 against France. Australia has progressed to three Rugby World Cup finals, a record held jointly with England, and lost in the 2003 Rugby World Cup final after extra time to England.

With the 2011 Rugby World Cup being played “across the ditch”, Australia will benefit from enthusiastic crowd support during their campaign.

According to current International Rugby Board (IRB) rankings, the Australian National Rugby Team is ranked 2nd in the world, behind the All Blacks and in front of South Africa.

Rugby World Cup 2011 will see Australia play in Pool C with Italy, Ireland, Russia and the USA. The Australian Rugby Team’s first Rugby World Cup fixture will be on the 11th of September against Italy in Auckland, followed by a contest against Ireland on the 17th September in Auckland.
